& Consultations
Nubian Solutions Beauty Salon is happy to start or take over the care
and maintenance of your natural hair. To better serve you, an in-person
consultation before an appointment can be scheduled. For an accurate
hair assessment, your hair must be free of oils, mousses, and gels.
Your hair must be loose (no individual/box braids of cornrows, please)
for examination and assessment.
Scheduling
All guest services require an appointment. Advance scheduling
(approximately 2-4 weeks) is highly recommended. Same day appointments
are difficult to accommodate and are not recommended.
Guests may request a first available appointment if desired.
Appointments requested after 4:00 pm on Saturdays are subject to an
additional charge.
Please refrain from bringing persons with you to your appointment. As
our salon offers limited waiting space your appointment will begin no
earlier than 15 minutes prior to your scheduled time, unless otherwise
notified.
Tardiness
Guests
are required to notify us if you are going to be more that 15 minutes
late for an appointment. We will assume through your lack of
communication that you have cancelled your appointment, and will offer
it to another guest on the waiting list.
Cancellations
With the exception of an emergency situation, guests are required to
cancel/reschedule the appointment no less than 24 hours in advance. A
$25.00 cancellation fee will be applied to you charges for no show
cancellations and is payable at your next appointment.
Nubian Solutions Beauty Salon reserves the right to require a deposit
for any guests who fails to show or cancels any number of appointments.
Our 24 hour cancellation rules apply only to regular appointments,
Sisterlocks/ Brotherlocks installations are exempt. We required no less
than 48 hours for those cancellations.
Children
Nubian Solutions Beauty Salon welcomes all children who are receiving
services. It is strongly requested that children who are not receiving
service do not accompany our guests. We understand that circumstances
arise where last minute decisions must be made and we require that
Nubian Solutions Beauty Salon have prior notification of children
arriving.
Payment
Payment
in full is expected upon conclusion of the each guests regular
appointment. There are no exceptions. We regularly accept Visa, Master
Card, Debit Cards, Cash and Money orders.
